Movember - how to grow a moustache
To grow a moustache, first let it grow out for at least two to four weeks without trimming to let it develop its full potential. During this time, support healthy growth by maintaining a healthy diet, staying hydrated, exercising, and managing stress. After the initial growth period, you can start to clean up the edges, condition the hair with a beard oil or balm, and use a comb and scissors to style and trim it to your desired shape. Initial growth phase
Patience is key: Allow the hair to grow without shaving for at least two to four weeks to see its natural thickness and shape. Growing a full beard can be a good way to cover patchy areas during the initial growth phase.
Stay healthy: A balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, along with regular exercise, can help support hair growth. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin and hair hydrated.
Maintain skin hygiene: Keep the skin on your upper lip clean to prevent irritation. Wash your face with a mild cleanser and consider exfoliating once a week to remove dead skin cells.
Manage itchiness: You will likely experience itchiness as the hair grows. Combat this by keeping the area clean and using a good moisturiser or beard oil to keep the skin and hair soft.
