The Aveda Autumn Equinox hair styling showcase event in Staines London was a breathtaking showcase of artistry and innovation, perfectly aligning with the seasonal transition. Set against the serene backdrop of Amber Lakes Resort, the gathering offered a unique opportunity for the Aveda hair care community to celebrate creativity and connection. I was very proud to receive recognition for being an Aveda salon owner for over 20 years. This highlight made the experience even more meaningful.

Robin awarded 20 years of his partnership with Aveda at Autumn Equinox Event
The day began with a delightful breakfast, allowing guests to soak in stunning views and prepare for a day filled with inspiration. A standout moment was the presentation by Joe Hill, Aveda’s International Technical Capability Manager, who demonstrated transformative hair colour techniques. His work, including a playful pink on industry influencer Chloe Swift, truly showcased the innovative spirit of Aveda hair, drawing inspiration from current social media trends.

Antoinette Beenders, Aveda’s Global Senior Vice President of Professional Hair Artistry, debuted her groundbreaking collection, Astral 2.0, blending real-life models with AI-generated imagery. Her innovative ridge technique, inspired by her collaboration with designer Iris van Herpen, pushed the boundaries of hair artistry, creating a dreamlike visual experience.

Six inspiring Aveda Artists shared their unique interpretations of hair colour, hair cut, and hair style, showcasing the incredible talent within our community.
A breathwork session led by Natalie Steward provided a refreshing pause between presentations, fostering a deeper connection among attendees. The UK & Ireland Artistic Team shared their latest collection, featuring diverse looks that further emphasized Aveda’s commitment to nurturing creativity.
As the sun set, the evening culminated in a joyous celebration of artistry and community, reinforcing the long-lasting relationships Aveda cultivates within the industry. The event was a poignant reminder of our shared passion and the exciting future of hair artistry at Aveda.
